30 Day Picture Challenge: Day 11- A picture of something you hate

Ok so you may have noticed day 10 is missing from the challenge but I decided I didn't like that one so missed it out....it's my blog so I'm allowed to!

So a picture of something I hate:
So one of many things I hate is needles and injections. I'm a complete needlephobic, I only have to hear that I have to have an injection and I freak out. The problem is needles are necessary for so many things: blood tests, going to the dentist, all the childhood injections you must have. It's that bad I can't even watch other people having injections or even watch them on TV

30 Day Picture Challenge: Day 9: A picture of a person who has gotten you through the most

Ok so I decided since I haven't actually updated in a while I'd kill two birds with one stone so to speak and update a few of these at a time (seeing as the last one before today was 6 days ago). So day 9 is a picture of a person who has gotten me through the most.

Ok I'm going to cheat on this post as there are a few people who have gotten me through a lot recently and therefore this post is becoming Pictures of People Who have gotten you through the most.

Firstly there are the uni girls. These girls have helped me so much over the last 3 years. They've gotten me through the highs and lows of being away from home and life in general and have helped me with so much. I honestly feel so blessed to have them as friends and cannot wait for them to come and visit me at home for my birthday.

My Mum and Stepdad are obviously people that have gotten me through so much. Without their support I honestly don't know where I'd be. My mums always at the end of a phone if I need a chat, moan, gossip or just to ask her a simple question like how long do I have to boil an egg for to make dippy egg and soldiers (and yes I did ask her that). Their support is invaluable and obviously they would be the people who have been the biggest support to me throughout my life.

The Work Girlies. The girls who also suffer the joys of ASDA with me and make going to work that much more bearable. They bear the brunt of my mood swings and have helped me a lot especially over the past year and all I can say is roll on Gran Canaria next week

The Housemates.
It's weird how someone I've only actually known for less than a year has gotten me through so much. These girls are my family away from home and I honestly don't know where I'd be without them. They've definitely brightened up my final year and I'm so glad to have lived with them this last year.

Kate. The one person who I think has had the longest and hardest slog as a best friend. We've been friends for years and so obviously in this time she's had to deal with a lot of my moods, problems and celebrations and I don't know where I'd be without her. Probably with a huge hole in my life waiting to be filled with her random art projects and useful insights into life. 6 years of friendship down and a lot more to come :)

30 Day Picture Challenge: Day 8- A picture That Makes You Laugh

Right so a picture that makes me laugh...

The picture may not appear that funny from an outsiders perspective but it takes me back to my nan's 60th birthday party 2 summers ago. She was quite drunk and at one point started to pole dance using my uncle's washing up pole, whenever I see this picture it makes me smile because I just remember how hilarious it was to watch and brings back all the memories from that night.

30 Day Picture Challenge: Day 7: A picture of your most treasured item

Right so I have decided to get back onto the blogging bandwagon and so am picking up from where I left off with the 30 Day Picture Challenge. So here is day 7:

I have a couple of treasured itens and I can't decide between them so this is going to be my most treasured items.

So number one: The gold ring with sapphire and diamonds. This ring was my nan's engagement ring which my mum gave to me a few years ago, it started out in my cupboard but I've begun to wear it more and more.
Number two: Another item which although relatively new holds a lot of sentimental value is the necklace my mum and stepdad bought me for christmas. I used to wear a necklace given to me by my ex but of course after a break up that went away into a cupboard and now lacking a necklace my mum and stepdad bought me this.

Number 3: Right the final item I have chosen may seem a little bit stupid and people will probably laugh but my phone is one of my most treasured items. Especially at uni its a way of contact with my family and friends and whenever I forget it when I go anywhere I always feel like my arms missing and I hurry home to find it and catch up on the texts etc I have missed.

They think it's all over...It is now!

So yesterday was a very important day for me. It was the day that my degree and 3 years at university ended officially.I had my last exam in the morning and after the month or so of solid revision I could not properly explain to you the feeling of utter relief I felt when the invigilator said "The time is up, your exam is over"

I had such an amazing day. I went for a quick drink in the union with the girls after our exam however after having only eaten 2 petit filous yoghurts for breakfast, I'm the type of person who stresses so much I can't eat and feel sick and that was literally the only thing I could manage, we decided to go get our lunch.
We went to AllBarOne (the same place I told you about in my post on my valentines post) and I must admit the Gammon and Eggs with Chips was amazing. If you have the chance to I highly recommend the restaurant. It's all very reasonably priced, my meal was only £8 and it was massive and definitely very very nice and they also do the most amazing cocktails and mocktails.
The evening I went out with the law girls for a celebration. We went to Tickled Ivory in Guildford, which is a lovely little bar which has a live piano musician as well as a DJ so I think it's fair to say it was a drunken but exciting night.

However today after waking up from a well deserved sleep at 12.30pm I've been reflecting on what this actually means. My degree is over! I've spent the last 3 years of my life at this uni and I must say I love it, maybe the people and the place more than the course but that is besides the point. And results provided I will be graduating and becoming an LLB hons.
I honestly cannot believe that it's been 3 years since I moved into my flat nervous as anything and crying when my mum left and I was on my own, needless to say I was fine and I met some of the best friends I could ask for. It feels like yesterday if I'm honest and I really wish I could go back to that first day and live the next 3 years again, not because I regret anything but because I've had such an amazing time and want to do it all over again.

I guess I have a lot to thank Surrey for and a lot to thank the university life for. I realise I came to uni a quiet naive 18 year old, not wanting to be away from home for anything longer than a couple of days and now I'm a strong, independent almost 21 year old who although still has no idea what she wants to do with her life, has grown up and matured.
Surrey has also given me some amazing friends who I can guarentee will be friends for life, not just the people I met in first year but my amazing housemates and course friends. Some of them I have known for 3 years, some a year and some a matter of months but they've all helped me to learn about myself and helped me through some really tough times.

This post is kind of a reflective post, I don't expect you to find it at all interesting but I found it a nice way to reflect even if only briefly on my time at uni and myself and so I thought I'd leave you with a few pictures of some of my favourite university times

Just A Quick Hello!!

Right this post is basically a quick post apologising for my absence from this blog. I am aware that I haven't posted in a long long while and yes I know it must be irritating following a blog that rarely updates (I know I get anxious to read new posts from some of the blogs I'm following). But I do have a genuine reason. I am ridiculously busy with my final year exams coming up in just over a week so I am currently in the madness stage of revision consisting of ridiculously long hours and the acceptance that I am going to be sleep deprived.

But the good news is yet to come: I will be back on the 7th June (or maybe the 8th depending on how drunk I get after my last exam) and I will have a whole summer to keep you all updated about everything I shall be up to and also telling you about what I've been doing in my absence, which includes a review of Olly Murs and his support bands after seeing them last night.

So I just ask you be patient for another 2 weeks and then I shall be back. Also any suggestions on anything you wanna read about, whether it's about my life, or a general issue then they are very welcome.

Sit tight
